Step 1: Gather all your craft supplies

Step 2: For the three bears we use one toilet roll and one paper towel roll. The medium (white) bear is the size of a toilet paper roll, 9.5 cm/ 3.75 inch. The big bear and small bear are created from one paper towel roll, the big bear is about 12 cm (so 2.5 cm/1 inch taller than the medium bear) and the small bear is 7 cm (2.5 cm/ 1 inch smaller than the medium bear). But any size you like is possible.

Step 3: Take your white, grey and black paper and cut them in the right size of your paper rolls. To get the right size, hold your paper portrait and line the top edge of your toilet roll up against the top edge of the paper and make a mark where the bottom edge of your toilet roll hits the paper. Use this as a guide to cut a strip from the page all the way across. Glue the paper strip around the roll. 

Step 4: Now you have a tall black roll, a medium white roll and a small grey roll. Before we can decorate our bears it’s time to give them their hairy fur. Take a white and black marker and give your bears fur by adding little stripes on the rolls. We gave our black bear white stripes and our white and grey bear black stripes.

Step 5: Give the bears a cute face. Cut out three oval noses and six round ears. If you like you can add details with a paint marker.

Step 6: Give each bear a pair of google eyes or draw the eyes with a sharpie.

Step 7: To make sure your bears are steady and stay up right, glue your paper rolls on a piece of cardboard.

Step 8: Fill your bear pencil holder with collared pencils, markers and other art supplies.
