Adorable paper roll reindeer craft for Christmas!

How fun and decorative is this paper roll Rudolph the Reindeer vase? Add some (dried) flowers or small branches from the Christmas tree. It will be a nice decoration to make your room more Christmassy. So let’s gather the craft materials and follow the step-by-step craft instructions for this cute paper roll reindeer craft.

Craft supplies needed reindeer craft.

Two toilet paper rolls
Craft paper or paint
Felt fabric for the ears (this is optional; you can also use paper)
Branches for the antlers (or paper antlers)
Glue (we used our Gorilla hot glue)
Scissor

Optional craft supplies

Pine tree branches or flowers
Beads to decorate the branches , or you can use pom-poms

Craft instructions for Rudolph the reindeer craft

Step-by-step craft instructions

Step 1: Gather your craft supplies.

Step 2: Take two paper rolls and cut one of them in half. Take your half paper roll and cut one side open to connect both paper rolls, as you can see in the graphic above (step 1).

Step 3: From the leftover half of your paper roll, we will create Rudolph’s face; see the graphic above (step 2).

Step 4: You can leave your paper roll in the color it is, cover your paper roll with brown craft paper, or paint your paper roll Rudolph brown.

Step 5: Glue the paper rolls together and attach the nose; see the picture above (step 2).

Step 6: Glue two small branches on the inside (left and right) of your TP-roll; see the picture above (step 3). We used hot glue to make sure the branches stuck well.

Step 7: Add some details, we added some white spots on the deer, a little piece of yarn as a tail, and a little pom-pom for the nose, and we drew the closed eyes with a sharpie.

Step 8: Cut two ears from felt fabric. If you don’t have felt, you can use regular paper.

Step 9: Now, your vase needs something to hold. We added a little branch from our Christmas tree. We glued some beads on top of the branches as pretend Christmas balls. But you can also go outside and look for flowers or green branches.
